Is the rear hatch on your Subaru Crosstrek not staying up? This video will show you how to replace the rear hatch lift supports on your 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 Subaru Crosstrek of any trim level. Sometimes called liftgate struts, these two rods keep the rear lift gate up when you want it up. If the lift gate slowly comes back down or just doesn't stay up the way it should, it's time for a lift strut replacement! Installation is easy with a few precautions, but taking care of this will make the back of your car much easier to load and unload!
