Delivering televised remarks on the Francis Scott Key Bridge that collapsed after being struck by a cargo ship, President Joe Biden thanked “the brave rescuers who immediately rushed to the scene” and added it’s his intention that the “federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge…” He also said, “And to the people of Baltimore, I want to say: We’re with you.” White House Correspondent Owen Jensen reports.
