Here, I replace the rear upper control arms on my aging Ford Flex. These arms have over well 100k miles on them.

The part number list below is current as of my video recording. As time moves forward, Ford may update part numbers. These part numbers are Motorcraft and for the Flex.

Part numbers/torque specs-
Rear upper control arms
DB5Z-5A804-D-Left
DB5Z-5A804-C- Right

Pillow block bushing-8A8Z-5A638-C
Bushing to control arm bolt is W713108-S439 /Torque spec is 148 lb-ft/200 Nm
Bushing to subframe bolts-W715179-S439/Torque spec is 111 lb-ft/150 Nm
Note: My control arms arrived with a different bushing and that is what I used.
The part number on that bushing is DB55-5A638-AA. However, I could not fit that exact part number. The closest I found was CB5Z-5A638-A and it is reported that it does not fit a Flex.

Upper control arm to subframe forward bolt. (The bolt that I cut in the video) -W713307-S439/Torque spec is 111 lb-ft/150 Nm

Note: The shop manual states to push the upper part of the knuckle all the way in for max neg. camber before tightening the bolt.
Upper control arm to knuckle bolt -W71149-S439 and the nut is W5205-17-S440. Torque spec is 148 lb-ft/200 Nm

The process shown here may be similar to that of the fifth generation Ford Explore- 2011-2019 and the sixth generation Ford Taurus 2010-2019.
and should be the dame For the Lincoln MKT
