Open your heart to something greater….

Wonderful World, a poem written by Zain Bhikha’s youngest sister when she was in high school, won the heart of Dawud Wharnsby who went on to compose the melody for this song that celebrates the world and Allah’s wonder. Featuring the harmonious voices of Zain and Dawud, the song first appeared on the album ‘Faith’ in 2001, and was remastered for ‘Songs of a Soul’ in 2012, in celebration of Zain’s twenty years as an artist.

Faith was the first of many album collaborations between Zain and his close friend and well-loved Canadian singer and songwriter, Dawud Wharnsby Ali. Their duets, Wonderful World and Glory be to Allah are still amongst the most recognisable of all Zain’s releases.

O what a wonderful world this would be
