Like ChatGPT and other LLM chatbots, SandboxAQ’s AI chatbot allows users to ask questions, get feedback, and quiz themselves. But SandboxAQ’s chatbot will be trained exclusively on LibreTexts’ library of educator-curated textbooks and educational resources. That means students can trust the integrity of the information they are receiving, without the possibility of hallucinations, misinformation or bias.

SandboxAQ demoed a prototype of the AI chatbot at the World Economic Forum and is rolling it out to classrooms in Kenya, India and other countries, delivering AI-enhanced, personalized education in healthcare-related texts, images and research. The AI tool will then expand to additional countries and other high-demand sectors.
