Hey everyone!
Welcome back to my channel! I had the honor to get invite to a glider flight with one of Germanys most professional glider pilots, Stefan Langer!
In this video we want to show you, how you could benefit from glider flying at a young age, and if I as a 747 pilot still have the skills to fly these beautiful planes. Yes I did throw up, but once that was out the way, I regained control and had so much fun trying it out. I wanna say after a few more flights I would have felt confident enough to fly solo.
Here are a few reasons why Stefan and I believe you should start out with glider flying if you are considering a career as an airline pilot:

-You can solo at the age of 14
-The transition to powered airplanes is easy.
-Glider flying is less expensive!
-You learn a lot about energy management.
-You'll become a part-time meteorologist!
-VFR tracking skills 
-You learn to fly coordinated AT ALL TIMES.
-The flight experience is one of a kind!
-Resilient to turbulence
-Ways of taking off
-Better maintenance understanding 
-Team effort
-People you meet
