The American Center's Makerspace took part in Maker Faire Festival, Moscow, dedicated to modern technologies, science, and technical creativity. The event was attended by makers, young learners, and the general public from all over Moscow (and other regions as well). During the two festival days, the American Center occupied a large tent near the small entrance in the educational zone of the festival.

American Center's Makerspace organized 8 stations with various activities: Makey Makey, LEGO Mindstorms, OSMO, E-Textiles, Dash&Dot Robots, VR Glasses, Arduino Robots, Quiz, and the U.S. states puzzle. The both's visitors had a chance to create LED garments, enhance their knowledge of the fundamentals of Physics (Electricity) at the Makey Makey station with fruit pianos, control robots, study the basics of programming, experience virtual reality and win Prizes.

During both days of the festival, the American Center's station visitors were Connecting to the American Center's activities at the reception desk subscribing to the AMC's mailing list, e-library, and learning about a variety of AMC's programs and opportunities through in-person communication with a large and well-trained teams of the AMC's volunteers.

Also, the American Center provided a lot of exciting hands-on activities: creating glowing garments and accessories with e-textiles, participating in robot-battles with Dash&Dot Robots, and creating and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots. The youngest guests were happy to improve their attention and fine motor skills with interactive OSMO sets.

Aimed at bringing Russian Fab Labs and makers together as well as popularizing science, art and technology Maker Faire Festival was a great way for the American Center to spread a word of mouth about its Makerspace and overall programming, as well as attract new volunteers.

The American Center's Maker Faire Festival station proved to be one of the busiest and most attended booths at the Festival, among educational centers.
