In this video we begin testing the durability of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light a 5 year ceramic coating. The original install was performed about a year ago and this is the first time we see the vehicle since then. We performed a decontamination wash and tested the hydrophobic qualities of the coating after one year of driving and exposure to the South Florida sun and weather.

The car was very dirty when we got it and had layers of dirt and grime on it. It is safe to assume this vehicle hasn’t been washed in several months.

After the decontamination wash and testing the hydrophobic qualities it is safe to say this coating is doing very good and looks and beads as if it were just coated.

We will continue to see this car every six months and test the coating to see how it does over time.
