Many people wonder if the F150 Lightning is just as good as the traditional gas powered F150. It's a question I had myself, given that the Lightning is powered by batteries and the regular F150 is powered by large output gas engines.

After driving the F150 Lightning for a week, and having had many opportunities to drive a gas powered F150, I feel I can offer you my thoughts on how they compare. There are several reasons why I think the F-150 Lightning IS better, but other reasons why I feel it's not. I'll even admit that there are some factors where neither version has an edge.
