Meet Oso! Oso is so excited to find a home to call his own. He’s looking for a dedicated adopter to continue to help him gain confidence in a home and be the happy husky boy we know!

Big fan of: Playtime! Oso loves soft toys and will chase or tug with his favorite people. He is also known to hold his toys in his mouth while he waits for his human friends to play with him. Oso also loves going
for walks and sniffing out new places. He enjoys the company of other dogs that share his low contact play style. Running around together is so fun, but so is hanging out together on the couch! He especially loves going for sniffy walks with his dog friends.

Working on: Crate. Oso is a social boy and prefers to be around his friends, either human or canine. He prefers to be contained in a room rather than a crate but can remain in the crate if he has lots of enrichment to keep him busy. Here at the BRC, Oso spends most of his day in an office space and isn’t destructive. Some positive reinforcement in the home can help him continue to work on his crate skills.

Dream home: Oso is excited to find a home that will appreciate his goofy personality but understand that it may take some time for him to show it. Somebody that will take Oso for walks or let him run in the yard, and then let him snuggle up for some pets would be his ideal home. Oso would likely do well with another dog in the home that shares his playstyle. If you have another dog, we would be happy to help introduce your dog to Oso here at our facility!
