Scenes of London's Trafalgar Square and Picadilly Circus early 1930s.
Lots of static shots of traffic and people going about their day.
The latter section is Picadilly Circus at night, now 1958, with all its famous colourful Neon Signs.
Situated at London's West End with its theatre and cinema district, the precinct is the smaller scale equivalent of New York's Time Square. It was built around 1819.
Today most of the signage is LED or video screens.
