Long awaited, finally here, our tour through a tiny house! Today we are in Schwörer's Flying Space and take a look at how life in a 50 square meter mini modular house can work.

In 2018, the prefabricated house manufacturer Schwörer Haus presented the Flying Space living cube at the International Furniture Fair. Shortly afterwards, the module as a whole was transported here to the Werder model house park and set up for inspection.

With external dimensions of 14.50 x 4.35 meters, the Tiny House offers a living space of 49.8 square meters. The clear room height inside is about 2.55 meters. The mini modular house offers an open living-dining-kitchen area with around 31 square meters of living space, a bedroom with 11.5 square meters of living space and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, separate toilet and a small technical room for the washing machine.

The Tiny House is designed as a fully-fledged, highly insulated house for two people. Other sizes and floor plans for the Flying Space are also available. The manufacturer has set up an extra production facility for its mini modular houses; a prefabricated tiny house leaves the factory premises almost every day!

The tiny house is built using a highly insulated wood composite structure. The flat roof with sloping roof insulation and gravel fill is equipped with two flat roof windows. The facade is designed as a wooden lamellar facade. A 43 square meter terrace extends the living space of the tiny house outside in summer.
On request, the manufacturer can deliver the house with custom-made built-in furniture, as shown here, which offers clever storage space. In the Tiny House model house in Werder, there is even a wall unit with an integrated seating window.

The prefabricated module is set up on point or strip foundations. The foundations and connections for water, sewage, electricity and telecommunications must be prepared by the builder on the property and, like transport, are not included in the price.

Technically, the house is equipped with every comfort. Heating is via direct electrical heating via underfloor heating, a mini ventilation system with heat recovery and an optional air conditioning unit in the bedroom ensure fresh and always pleasantly tempered air in the tiny house. The hot water supply is ensured decentrally with electric water heaters. The Flying Space module is equipped with a wired smart home solution with its own mini server to control lights, shutters and heating.
The Tiny House Flying Space can be viewed as a model house in
UNGER-Park in 14542 Werder, opening times: Wed. to Sun. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Attention: at the moment the houses can only be visited by appointment!
