On March 22 2024, Auriga Nusantara released findings regarding deforestation that occurred in Indonesia in 2023 (https://www.youtube.com/live/bz_nxXMT.... One of the biggest contributors to deforestation is industrial forest/timber plantation corporations. On this occasion, an information system (SIMONTINI) was also released which allows users to see the land cover, the distribution of permits, and the status of forest areas in Indonesia (https://simontini.id).

Based on the Download page, users can only download 2023 deforestation spatial data (shapefile) in zip format. But, did you know that other data can also be downloaded?
