Crystalline Waterproofing products form crystals within the pores and capillaries within the concrete in order to make the concrete more impervious to water/moisture. They use cementitious materials which are hard, brittle and offer no elongation/flexibility what so ever to seal joints & cracks. When/if even minor movement occurs, these cementitious materials rely on crystals to react with the presence of leaking water to continue the crystal formation in order to seal the leak.

The Sani-Tred system permanently adheres by the first coat’s penetration into the concrete then curing to become as tough as a tire inside the concrete. All joints, seams, cracks and holes are then patched/sealed using LRB/TAV mixture which molecularly welds to the underlying PermaFlex. Then a topcoat of PermaFlex is applied which molecularly welds to all of the underlying. This creates a permanently bonded, flexible, monolithic and waterproof seal throughout. Sani-Tred products do not only waterproof concrete. Visit http://sanitred.com/ to learn more.
