Before delving into specifics, it is important that the God-conscious Muslim understands that all humans are different, thus our interactions with different people varies. Through compassion, we prioritize what is better for any situation over what is technically right, and we learn to consider people’s circumstances when dealing with them. Ultimately, this contributes to the emotional health of our families, communities, and society at large. The God-conscious Muslim learns from the example of the Prophet (S) about emotional intelligence and its role in perfecting one’s conduct.
The Annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The convention takes place in Chicago, Illinois every December during the winter holiday season.
