Brendan Fraser discovers his great-great grandfather was fired for striking, and responded by shooting at the man who replaced him in the job! It appears that no criminal case was ever brought against the man, an Irish immigrant making his way in the turbulent Pennsylvania coal mines.

Brendan Fraser is one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation with roles in films such as Encino Man (1992), The Mummy trilogy (1999–2008), Gods and Monsters (1998), Crash (2004) and most recently The Whale (2022). Fraser's starring role in The Whale earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor, becoming the first Canadian to win this category.
