Stiff Person's Syndrome – the ultra-rare condition that effects one in a million people.

💡Currently...there is no cure.

💡Symptoms include severe muscle cramping and spasms, stiff, ridged posture, unsteady gait, anxiety, agoraphobia, and shortness of breath.

💡Treatments are geared towards symptoms relief and management. Normal Stiff Person's Syndrome medications include muscle relaxants, benzodiazepines (valium), GABA, immunosuppressants (Rituxan), IVIG, and plasma exchange.

💡Stiff Person's Syndrome sufferers should not take narcotics, consume alcohol, SSRI's, Tricyclic antidepressants.
