David Gross, an american physicist whose work on string theory has earned him a title of the frontman of "Princeton string quartet", visited the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research in Dubna in 2016.

This video is a part of a lecture where the 2004 Nobel Prize winner for the discovery of asymptotic freedom is talking about the main accomplishments of physics after thousands of years of development, and the question that determined his sphere of interests.
