Cumberland Island National Seashore is a fantastic place to spend a day or a weekend. It has beautiful, uncrowded beaches, great canopy for hiking and camping, interesting history with ruins and historical sites to explore, a nice, flat bike trail and wild horses.

This video takes you through the Southend Loop that includes the Dungeness Trail, a wonderful 4.3 mile loop that takes you through a variety of scenery.

It takes planning to visit because it's only accessible by ferry, so watch this video to help you plan and get a sense of the place before you visit.
