Though the refreshed 2024 Hyundai Elantra was first revealed in early 2023, the 2024 Chicago Auto Show was our first crack at seeing the zhuzhed-up compact sedan. Contrary to appearances, our in-person inspection confirms the Elantra is refreshed for the new model year, even if the changes are mostly subtle. Beyond the additional exterior flair, the car sports standard rear side airbags and haptic steering-wheel feedback (it vibrates) for the lane departure, blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert systems — none of which (thankfully) we were able to test on the show floor.
