2024 BMW R 1300 GS Trophy
BMW officially highly anticipated R 1300 GS adventure motorcycle. . For 2024, BMW’s R 1300 GS has increased power, reduced weight, new suspension, a new frame, and radar.

Thanks to a transmission that is housed underneath the engine and a redesigned camshaft arrangement, the new 1300cc boxer engine that powers the BMW GS 1300 R now has a more compact chassis. This engine generates 105 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm and 145 horsepower at 7,750 rpm. BMW claims that the engine weight was lowered by 8.6 pounds in total.

An entirely novel steel, sheet-metal structure that allows for enhanced stiffness is now the foundation of the new R 1300 GS. In addition to being shorter and sleeker than previously, the sub-frame has been constructed of die-cast aluminum rather than the tubular design found on the R 1250 GS. The suspension system comprises an improved Evo Telelever design up front and a modified Evo Paralever design at the rear, giving the rider more control over the steering up front and more traction in the back.

The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS will offer three different wheel options, all offered in 3.0 by 19-inch front wheels and 4.5 by 17-inch rear wheels. Wheels made of lightweight cast aluminum are included with the standard and Triple Black models. In contrast, you get cross-spoke wheels with aluminum rings for the Trophy and Option 719 Tramuntana which are specifically designed for off-road use. Then, there's an option of going for the newly introduced forged Enduro wheels, which are likewise designed for off-road use but weigh 3.9 pounds less than the cross-spoke models for weight-conscious riders.

Pricing and Variants
Base model price for the 2024 R 1300 GS is $18,895 and the bike is expected to arrive at dealers in early 2024.

In addition to the base R 1300 GS, there are three variants: a Triple Black ($975) which gets the black-out treatment of most surfaces and has cast wheel for extra attitude; the GS Trophy ($975) that features cross-spoke wheels along with a slew of off-road ready parts and a Racing Blue Metallic color scheme; and the Option 719 Tramuntana ($3,195) that comes with “rich” colors and finishes.
