BMW has unveiled its new 2024 BMW X2 crossover.
The second generation X2 has a sporty new look, increased performance, more technology and more space.
In the United States, the new BMW X2 will be offered with two available powertrains: the xDrive28i with 241 horsepower and the M35i xDrive with 312 horsepower.

The base variant is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 241 hp and 295 pound-feet of 400 Nm of torque.
This engine allows the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds.

The M35i xDrive version offers a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged unit with 312 hp. Torque is identical at 295 pound-feet, but it comes at lower revs in the entry-level model.
This engine accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.(250 km/h)
Both models are equipped with standard all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Along with the additional power, the M35i received a new front splitter, a trunk spoiler, a unique chassis setup with adaptive shock absorbers as standard, and more powerful brakes.
Available wheel sizes range from 19 to 21 inches.

The new X2 is bigger, wider and taller than before.The length has increased by 194 millimeters (7.6 inches) to 4554 mm (179.2 inches)
The wheelbase has been lengthened by 22 mm (0.86 in.) to 2692 mm (106 in.) and the width has increased by 21 mm (0.8 in.) to 1845 mm (72.6 in.). The height has increased by 64 mm (2.5 inches) to 1590 mm (62.6 inches), and the front and rear tracks are wider than before.

The interior is more spacious than the old X2, with more knee room in the rear seats.
The curved center display consists of a 10.25-inch information display and a 10.7-inch infotainment display.
The new X2 is equipped with a wealth of connectivity features and driver assistance systems. There are even in-car video games from the AirConsole gaming platform.
New interior features include a cabin-facing camera that can take photos and record videos.

X2 pricing starts at $42,000 for the xDrive28i and rises to $51,400 for the M35i xDrive.
