Ever since the Gen6 Ford Bronco arrived and owners started taking them off-road, one thing was clear: the Ford Bronco’s steering was weak. First it was the tie rods snapping under load. Owners were trying to get out and crawl around the rocks, but when they got bound up the tie rods would break. Next it was the steering rack housing itself that would break. It didn’t take long for 74Weld to create a solution that would address both issues, as well as increase the overall off-road performance. In this video we install and then put their Hoss 3.0 billet steering rack to the test in some of the gnarliest rock crawling spots in the country.
