This exciting edition of Philosofur will take us under the sea as we analyze two adaptations of the Hans Christian Anderson story. This is Disney's The Little Mermaid from 1989 versus Studio Ghibli's Ponyo from 2008. We compare the similarities, differences, and ultimately point out which is the stronger adaptation and also which is the better movie and why.

We'll be focusing on both of the films' strong points as well as their weak points.
