Nomad View Dispersed Camping is located in South Dakota in the Buffalo Gap National Grassland area. This is probably the most popular RV Boondocking site we have seen yet. Guaranteed views of the Badlands from anywhere on the ridge. The grasslands are still bright green in early summer and several families of wild Big Horn Sheep roam this area and are frequently seen. Wild flowers are abundant as well. Best of all is Badlands National Park is just a few miles away and is definitely worth seeing. We spent 2 nights here and did experience heavy rain and high winds on the first night which made the roads slick and muddy.
