Chamath Palihapitiya recently tweeted about a massive part of Tesla's future, one in which 99% of Wall Street has 0% idea how to value (understandably so).

There is a huge problem looming, that has not developed yet, but by 2025 (ish) it's going to become a bigger and bigger challenge. Tesla is working to solve it and I don't see any other company even talking about it.

With so much attention paid to Tesla cars and energy, it's very easy to forget about this Tesla sleeping giant that is being developed behind the scenes that we should see in the middle of this decade.
