I made this keepsake box using sapele for the wood and finger joints or box joints for the joinery. This is a great weekend woodworking project. The jig for making box joints was simple and quick to make and the contrasting colors of face and end grain looks great. I finished the box with some inexpensive hardware and finished up with a couple coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal and buffed it out with some 0000 steel wool and Briwax. Thanks for watching !
