The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has introduced a brand new sports bike, the RS 457.
The new sportbike looks quite sporty and aggressive and has many impressive features.
The strengths of this motorcycle are its lightness, ease of handling and technological equipment.
The Aprilia RS 457 is powered by an all-new liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine, (displacement not yet known) but likely 457cc.
which produces a maximum power of 47 hp. 35 kilowatts.
The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission.
The sportbike has a kerb weight of 175 kg, which provides the best power-to-weight ratio.
The fully LED headlight features the latest generation of Aprilia's signature lighting style, complemented by integrated turn indicators.
The instrumentation uses an efficient 5-inch color TFT instrument display, and the steering wheel controls are illuminated.

The new sportbike is equipped with a 41 mm front fork with 120 mm of travel and preload adjustment. The rear has an adjustable monoshock with a steel pendulum and 130 mm of travel.
Braking is provided by a 320 mm front disc with a radially mounted 4-piston ByBre caliper.
At the rear, a 220 mm diameter steel disc is paired with a ByBre caliper.
Both wheels are equipped with a dual-channel ABS system with dual map settings available for both wheels or for the front wheels only.
17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tires.
The sportbike has a Ride by Wire system with three different riding modes that affect power and torque transmission, as well as traction control, which is adjustable at three levels and can also be turned off. The Quickshifter will be offered as an accessory.

The price has not yet been announced, but it should be between 6700 and 7100 euros.
