Lowell Page Fillmore (1882-1975) was the eldest son of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, the cofounders of Unity. His work in the Unity movement began at age 8 when he worked in the family printing business after school and it continued for 75 years. He ran the early printing press, served as manager of the ordering department, was editor of Weekly Unity, and wrote a regular column for Unity.

Fillmore was general manager of Unity School for five decades and became president of Unity in 1948 upon his father’s death, serving in that capacity until 1972. He then served on Unity’s board of directors until his death in 1974 at age 94.

He wrote several books including the following: Remember; The Prayer Way to Health, Wealth, and Happiness; New Ways to Solve Old Problems; Things to Be Remembered. He also compiled the book The Unity Treasure Chest: A Selection of the Best of Unity Writing.
