So my plant ban didn't last very long BUT for good reason. I came across some rare plant rescue boxes. For context, these usually sell out in minutes, so when I found them while browsing, I had to snap some up - and they didn't disappoint!

I've unboxed these rescue plant boxes in previous videos and they are a great way to get rare plants and new varieties into the collection for a lot less.

This time, there were rare plant boxes and standard houseplant boxes, so I got a standard houseplant box to for comparison, to see what types of plant varieties were received for each box type.

The plants in the boxes are always a mystery and as it is a rescue plant box, it means the plants require some extra TLC to bring them back to full health. They might have some imperfections, damage or just not growing as they should but all of the plants should be salvagable.

There were 11 plants in total, some new varieties (and completely new to me!), so please share your care tips in the comments below too.

I also worked out the value of the plants vs the cost of the boxes and they were definitely bargain plants. Now I just to give them the support they need to bring them back to full health.
