I've done a lot of hiking and camping in the Shenandoah National Park and George Washington National Forest in and around Virginia and this is one of my favorite hikes. Although, the views may not be spectacular, the scenery more than makes up for it.

I started at the bottom and it is quite a steep hike. It's the perfect hike for a cold day or a hot day when you're willing to get wet.

I mention trout fishing in video, but my disclaimer is I'm not a fisherman and generally prefer other activities to fishing.

I hope you enjoy the video.
