There has been debate for a long time among non-Muslim academics about the history of the #Quran and whether it was completed by the time of the death of Mohammed or whether it continued to be added to and slightly changed after his death. Several early manuscripts of the Quran have been published by the Organization for Islamic Cooperation: Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture. These manuscripts show that the Quran we have now is almost identical to the Quran that existed close to the time of the Prophet #Muhammad. Dr. Shabir Ally explains that the #Tubingen Manuscript in particular is stunning confirmation of the Quran’s authenticity. It has been dated to 649-675 CE with 95.4% authenticity. It is very close to the Quran as it is now in its published form with some minor spelling differences
