Despite appearing in films like Fury and The Suicide Squad, Scott Eastwood has a million interests that go beyond just acting. He just can’t keep still. Scott sits down with Campfire Convos host James Palmer to talk about his love of the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and what keeps him going.

He discusses spending his formative years in Hawaii and his respect for its land and people. That respect, Scott notes, comes into play with character roles based on real people. Whether it’s in The Outpost, Flags Of Our Fathers, or Fury, his desire to honor the families of the people he portrays bleeds into every aspect of his career.

But Scott’s career doesn’t stop with acting. As we said, he can’t stay still. His passions have led him to create a beer company (whose wares he was kind enough to share). His dedication to local ingredients and local craft has led him to overcome the myriad of obstacles thrown his way.

And, of course, he makes a mean s’more.

Scott also talks about his time living in an Airstream® in Austin before making some life-changing decisions in our Rapid Fire segment. Here, we learn about him learning to drive on an ancient Ford, his co-dog-parenting skills, and of course, his secret go-to karaoke jam.

As he looks back over the successes and mistakes throughout his life, Scott concludes that it’s all about the journey, not the destination.
