The Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric is a fully electric version of one of the most highly rated premium compact SUVs on sale. It features a 78kWh battery and delivers 402bhp from its twin electric motors, allowing a 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds. The official range from a full charge is 259 miles, although having tested the car we think you're more likely to see around 200 miles in typical real world driving.
