It's been way too long since I've seen you guys. Lots of new stuff happened since the last video. New job, new family member, and new car. It's a 2016 Volkswagen VW Jetta GLI SEL in Deep Black Pearl with black leather interior. After, selling my Audi S3, I wanted to get something that had a little more value and that was still fun and semi good-looking and I think think this Volkswagen VW Jetta GLI check all of the boxes.

Before I bought this car, I struggled with the decision to get the 5-Speed manual transmission or the DSG gearbox. At the time, my commute to work everyday was pretty rough so I decided on the DSG with paddle shifters. Now that I have a new job, I'm kind of regretting that decision because I definitely could have gone with the 5-speed manual. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it now.

Anyway, I still love the car. I've put around 5,000 miles on it so far and it's been a blast to drive. I actually find myself driving the GLI in manual mode more than I did with my Audi S3. I don't know why, but the GLI just seems more fun to drive in that mode.
