A slightly different video than I usually post, this came from another one of my scene recreation videos inside Blender, I wanted to take a crack at something a little more difficult than I'm used to, and what better than a scene from one of my favorite films?

Everything in this scene is meant to have been built by hand, from the floorboards to the wooden desk to the duvet laid on the bed: it all had to feel tactile and imperfect. It was a really fun and challenging build inside Blender, and once I had a result I was happy, I experimented with a lot of different lighting styles which led to me having a folder full of renders of this room at various times of day and night.

So I thought I'd edit them together into a little ambience video. If you want to step into the world of CMBYN for a little while, pop this video on in the background and let the sound take you away to Somewhere in Northern Italy...
