BMW. A manufacturer who was there right at the start of the electric car movement, and who gave us the wonderful i3, a car we still love and adore all these years later. We also know that they are about to give us the radical-looking iX, their all-electric flagship SUV, and the Tesla/Polestar-rivalling i4. But why have they played it so safe with their mid-sized electric SUV, the iX3? Have they dropped the ball? With their main rivals, Audi and Mercedes-Benz both delivering a bespoke EV in the e-tron and EQC respectively, have the Bavarians got this car all wrong?
