If, like me, you prefer to keep the menu bar always visible, even in full screen mode, then open Settings and choose Control Centre from the menu. Scroll all the way down through the list of options until you see this one to Automatically hide and show the menu bar. Changing this setting to Never, ensures you’ll always see the menu bar, even when viewing apps full screen. If you would like to keep both the menu bar and the dock, then I suggest either double clicking the app’s title bar, like so, or holding down the option key and clicking the green button in the top left corner of the app. This will expand the window to fit the full size of your screen.
