Eye to Eye hosted more than 120 young adults at the Young Leaders Organizing Institute, which for the first time was held at The University of Denver (DU) in Denver, CO. This incredible group of neurodiverse young adults from around the country connected in community, felt seen, heard, and valued, and left the Organizing Institute mobilized to act within their communities.

Eye to Eye intentionally designed this year’s Organizing Institute to center young adults: from the facilitators and speakers of sessions to the topics covered, the community shared a diversity of knowledge and lived experience. We gained inspiration from leaders in the disabilities justice space and from the young adults who shared their stories, perspectives, and actionable next steps to make change.

The young adults who attended represented the full spectrum of Eye to Eye's programmatic landscape: Chapter Leaders from the near-peer mentoring program, Neurodiversity Alliance, Fellowship Program, Alumni, interns and more!
