For months, Czech astronaut Jakub has embarked on a solitary mission to probe a newly emerged enigma: a striking lilac cloud hovering near Jupiter's expanse. Meanwhile, back on Earth, his pregnant wife opts to depart, leaving Jakub to navigate his personal turbulence alone. Adding to the complexity, his commanding officer instructs him to withhold this pivotal news. Amidst this emotional maelstrom, an unexpected visitor manifests aboard Jakub's spacecraft - a genial, humanoid alien, taking the guise of a colossal furry arachnid.
