Pooja Prasanna chats with Sudipto Mondal about his latest long form essay on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Sudipto talks about his quest to cut through the sea of Kharge supporters to find an authentic voice; somebody who witnessed his rise from obscurity.


Sudipto says that many people have profiled Kharge, but there's a missing piece in the way he's been described so far. Kharge has always claimed to be an Ambedkarite Buddhist, but there's never been an attempt in the media to analyse his ideology.
