Comparing can be very dangerous for mental health as well as productivity and progress. Especially on Social Media.

Social media is filled with people's highlights at best and fake stuff at worst. If we look at people on social media, and real-life too, we end up feeling 'less than' and generally behind because we're comparing the entirety of our life with the 2-minute highlights of somebody's best day.

Compare yourself today with yourself yesterday instead and strive to be better, strive to be happier and to add more value to your and other people's lives.

Compare yourself and your actions today with the person you want to be tomorrow and bridge the gap. Live up to what you want to become.

This is how we progress towards heightened happiness, better mental health, higher productivity and a better direction in life, working toward our goals and vision of 'great' rather than someone else's.
