It's the most powerful version and also the most fuel-efficient version thanks to its electric-assist and roughly 20 miles of pure electric range. But is it worth the price premium over the other trim levels of the XC90?

Our test vehicle was equipped with the T-8 eAWD Inscription package with Napa leather, 20” alloy wheels, walnut wood inlays, 600W Harmon Kardon premium audio with 14 speakers for $6300. Advanced package with full LED headlights and active bending lighting, 360 around view camera, and a head-up display for $2450. The luxury package offers massaging seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel and more leather details for $3100. The audio system on our test car is the Bowers and Wilkins premium sound system upgrade for $3200, plus air suspension and upgraded 21” wheels all totaling $86,990.
