This could've been a LOT worse, but I got lucky. Or maybe this WAS bad luck? Who knows but thankfully I deflected this baseball away from my face at the last second.

I've been to more than 20 games at Tropicana Field, which is normally ultra-chill, but this one moment during batting practice was scary. Huge thanks to stadium security for checking up on me -- ultimately this wasn't a big deal, but let this be a lesson: BE CAREFUL. You never know when a crazy ricochet might get you.

The Tampa Bay Rays were playing the Los Angeles Angels, so in addition to seeing Randy Arozarena, I also got a good look at Mike Trout and Logan O'Hoppe. Wanna see the minor league video with Logan from Reading, Pennsylvania? Check it out:
