Please note, this is not a tutorial, just an entertainment video about getting this machine cleaned up and running.
I also should have mentioned in the video that I made sure the spring was fully unwound before taking the motor to pieces. This was important to ensure it didn't rapidly unwind when the top plate was removed and cause damage to either the motor or me!

Cleaning up and making some repairs to this antique Apollo gramophone I recently picked up. In this video I make some parts on the lathe and also overhaul the motor which nearly goes badly wrong when I clean the governor!
