In this video we demonstrate Feeding Therapy at Home. This is what a typical oral feeding session looks like for Dior. Dior has both Cerebral Palsy and Autism which makes feeding by mouth challenging. Unlike some autistic toddlers Dior is not a picky eater.

Our focus with Dior is to assist her in developing the proper oral motor skills. She has made so much progress over the last year. Thanks to the help of St. Vincent Feeding Clinic.

Cerebral palsy can affect the muscles that open and close the mouth and move the lips and the tongue which can cause difficulties in chewing and swallowing food and drink – a condition known as dysphagia.
