This is just a few scenics I shot as a test of the Sirui 35mm Anamorphic lens, shooting with a Sony a6500, shooting 4K 30fps. I'm still learning the 'scope skillset as a filmmaker. You have to really change your panning speed (unless you're following an actor/fast action) and other factors that work fine in 16x9 or 4x3 are totally different in 2.40:1. I recently got an external monitor which should help--it's REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to use the Sony viewfinder or viewscreen in full daylight!! I had to contort my body into very strange positions to try to do the pans, and I apologize if they are a bit clunky! This is NOT my best work, but I'm learning!
