Elton John and songwriter Bernie Taupin discussed their reaction to the biopic ‘Rocketman’ at the Cannes Film Festival.

The 72-year-old pop star came to the festival dressed in a blue tuxedo with ‘Rocket Man’ emblazoned on the back.

The English artist said he was “blown away” and “very moved” by the movie. “I cried the first time I saw it and I cried a lot this time,” he added.

"Rocketman" is directed by Dexter Fletcher, who also worked on last year's hit music biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody," after Bryan Singer departed mid-production.
