I love to draw, paint and sculpt and this channel is my way of sharing my interests and maybe teaching a few tricks and techniques. I will be the first to admit that I am not a professional but I have a passion for it. It relaxes me, is an anxiety reliever, helps me cope, connect and engage. I first started with art lessons in 1962, yep, that long ago. I took lessons at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the beautiful museum in downtown Detroit, Michigan. My teachers were all students at Wayne State Museum and half of them were hippies. They taught me how to freely express myself while learning and experimenting with paints, pencils, pastels and clay. Sometimes I go into a dream world as I get lost in my art.
Throughout the years I have taken many classes and when I was 58 I graduated with a four year Graphic Design Degree from Madonna University.
