Honda sold me the wrong car. The dealership made a mistake and my car buying experience went all wrong. The honeymoon new car experience was quickly over. Getting a new car is supposed to be a special experience. I feel like mine was taken away.

Don't get me wrong. I'm more than grateful the Lord provided a new vehicle as my ride. And I know that mistakes happen. I was just taken by surprise and was driving an uninsured vehicle unknowingly. We were insuring one sitting on their lot instead.

I'm not doing this video to discourage anyone from buying from Music City Honda in Mount Juliet, but the fact is, that this really did happen. And I hope two things come from it. 1) That all car buyers look out for yourselves and make sure the contract has the serial number of the car you test drove and fell in love with. 2) Honda maybe can hone in on their efficiencies and figure out a way to "dummy fix" this so it doesn't happen again.

This is basic stuff here. It should NOT have happened in the first place. How embarrassing for Honda. And this dealership.

That said, we are all human. We all make mistakes, and me especially. But shame on me for stupidly assuming I was being sold the car I test drove since it was the car I drove home! And Honda, well, what a fiasco.

I love the other car too but the interior is a bit different I think. I have a bad taste in my mouth and I can't yet say I'm a happy satisfied customer. Maybe that will change with time. Right now I'm still trying to get over it. And I'm trying to bond with the NEWER new car. My feelings of love rode out the door with the old one. It's like a pet you've picked from the litter and someone swapped the dog for another one. I know cars are inanimate, but I'm not.

It'll be ok. I'll come around. And I am loving having a newer ride, but the sting of this is still a little raw right now.
